The Cebu Media Excellence Awards by Globe was recently launched at Harold's Hotel. The Cebu Media Excellence Awards will award deserving media professionals and practitioners in Cebu. The Globe Cebu Media Excellence Awards will have various categories for different mediums, even bloggers are recognized.
The search period will be on September 21, 2011 to July 31, 2012. The deadline for search entries will be on July 31, 2012 while the screening period will be on August 1-31, 2012. The Announcement of the Media Excellence Awards Nominees will be on September 1, 2012 and for the winners on September 21, 2012!
The Excellence Awards by Globe will be the following:
- PRINT REPORTER OF THE YEAR
- TV REPORTER OF THE YEAR
- RADIO REPORTER OF THE YEAR
- FEATURE STORY OF THE YEAR (print, tv, radio)
- COLUMNIST OF THE YEAR
- TV BROADCASTER OF THE YEAR
- RADIO COMMENTATOR OF THE YEAR
- BLOGGER OF THE YEAR (as a special award)
