Best Cebu Blogs Awards officially opened the nomination for the Top 10 Best Cebu Blogs 2010 last November 1. This year’s competition for Cebu’s finest blogs is already heating up the local online scene.

Several bloggers from all around the Central Visayas region, particularly Cebu, are now vying to be part of Cebu’s finest online writers.

Blogs with the most relevant content that promotes Cebu have the biggest chance of making it to the top 10 finalists. But before being top-listed, all nominees must vie first for the top 20 list by promoting their respective blogs through Facebook. Cebu Blogs with the most LIKEs in BCB 2010 Facebook fan page are secured to be part of The Top 20 and could become among the Top 10 Best Cebu Blogs of 2010.

Cebuano and Cebu-based bloggers, who have not nominated their blogs yet, are still invited to join the competition by visiting the Best Cebu Blogs 2010 Nominations page. They should have a post that promotes Cebu on their authored blogs for their nomination to be accepted. Submission of entries is only until November 26, 2010.

Best Cebu Blogs 2010 Awards aims to recognize the existence and relevance of blogging in Cebu’s local online scene. It also aspires to augment Cebu bloggers’ influence in the general cyber community worldwide.

Best Cebu Blogs Awards wants to spread public awareness on the important roles of blogging—as an effective online media tool and as an increasingly-recognized medium that will help uplift Cebu’s online reputation.
