There will be an upcoming Supervisory Skills seminar by Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry. You guys in Cebu maybe interested to attend a two-day seminar entitled “Supervisory Skills Seminar” on September 23-24, 2011 at the Sacred Heart Center, D. Jakosalem Street., Cebu City.
Supervisors, Prospective Managers, New to Supervisory Positions, Team Leaders, First-line Managers, Managers, and the General Manager will benefit from this 2-day seminar/workshop, as they will learn how to plan, organize, communicate with their people, monitor, motivate, and coach them to improve their performance, as well as, ‘build’ teams. They will have the opportunity to use their planning and organizing capabilities, practice interpersonal skills, and improve their ability to manage conflicts.

About the Speakers:
Moshe Amir, MBA, has comprehensive professional management experience here and abroad. His MBA is from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business (Makati) and his undergraduate studies from Tel Aviv University (Israel).
He was the CEO & Consultant of Action Sports Team (Penn.) and a Business Consultant / QuickBooks Certified ProAdviser / Tax Advisor, while managing his two businesses in California. He was also the GM/Owner of Berthamex S.A. de C.V., BC (Mexico) and GM of Philippine Apparel, Inc. (Manila). He is currently the Managing Director of First Strategic Management Solutions & Carlsbad Consultancy Services (Cagayan de Oro).
Ma.Soledad Dela Fuente-Amir, SPHR, FLMI. Sol was certified as Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) in the US.
She was President of Aedan Associates Inc. and was Training Consultant for Worldwide Paper Mills, Dasmarinas Paper Mills, Alabang Country Club, LCG Marketing Corp., & Toyota Cagayan de Oro. She was also Personnel Manager for Colgate-Palmolive; AVP for HR of Great Pacific Life Assurance Corp; and HR Advisor for North American Communications Inc (Penn.). Currently, she is the HR Consultant & JDE Project Manager for Limketkai Manufacturing Corp., which has presence in Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, & Shanghai.
Sol is also a Fellow of Life Management Institute (Georgia) & a Kaizen Champion. She took up Human Resources Management in San Diego State University and her BA in Economics from Maryknoll College (QC).
