3 Book Launch by Author Adoracion Avisado

Last September 4, 2010, there was a 3-Book launch by Author Adoracion P. Cruz Avisado. The book launch is supported by Legal Alternatives for Women Center, Inc., Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. - Eduardo Aboitiz Development Studies Center and Lihok Pilipina Foundation, Inc. which took place at the Mariner's Court DYLA Compund, Pier I, Cebu City.
The three books are as follows:
"The intertwining Culture of Patriarchy Corruption and Impunity; Journey in Advocacy for the Transformation of the Justice System;"
"JAJA, Justice for Arbet, Justice for All;"
"Ate Perla and That Cancer / Si Ate Perla at yung Cancer (A Story of a Cancer Survivor Living in Faith)"
Book prices are at Php200.00, Php300.00, and Php350.00 respectively. Books are very good for Political Science and Law students. Lawyers and women's rights advocates are targeted as well.
About the Author:
Adoracion "Dory" Panlaque Cruz-Avisado is a Christian Feminist and developmental Lawyer. She has been advocating for the transformation of the justice system for decades. She became a multi-awarded judge when she served as Presiding judge of the (RTC) Regional Trial Court. She also has a Master of Arts in Applied Social Research (MASOR) major in Gender Studies and Doctor of Philosphy Major in Developmental Studies. She is also the founding director of the AACCTS (Avisado Advocacy, Consultancy, Counseling and Training Services) center. She is currently the Executive Director of the Transformative Justice Institute (TJI) and Consultant of the AACCTS Center.
