REGISTRATION for the Casino Femme Run "The Empowered Series" is still on in the following locations: Parkmall, Cebu City Sports Center, and Runners Ayala. The Empowered Series Run - Cebu Leg will be on December 12, 2010 @ 5:30AM at the Park Mall, Mandaue City.

After their successful staging of their Mindanao leg last November in Davao City which attracted more than 1,600 runners, the organizers (IPI) are expecting to draw more here in the Visayas leg. With the Cebu City Sports commission's plan of regulating running events in Cebu next year since not a few are doing it for Business, Dela Merced said that they are holding running events because it is the company's core objective to pursue and promote health and wellness.

Aside from the marketing aspect, IPI Foundation also has chosen beneficiaries wherein, these beneficiaries shall receive a portion of the proceeds for the benefit or their organization's programs and projects which is also part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility programs. One of those organization is Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc.'s ALEx - Aboitiz Leaders of Excellence.

The event features the all-women 3K and 1.5K run, men's and women's 10K and men's and women's 5K divisions. The first four 10K finishers will receive P10,000, P5,000, P3,000 and P1,000 while the next six placers will get gift packs and medals. The 5K first four runners will go home with P6,000, P4,000, P2,000 and P1,000 while the next six placers will also receive gift packs and medals. All first three placers will also claim trophies.

In 3K, the champion will pocket P4,000 while the following three runners will settle for P3,000, P2,000 and P1,000, respectively. The 1.5 K all-women event top four will take home P3,000, P2,000, P1,000 and P500. Gift packs and medals will also be given to the fifth to 10th finishers.

* 1.5K & 3K = Php250.00
* 5K = Php300.00
* 10K = Php350.00
