TV5’s Star Factor scout for future teen idols together with a team of Star Makers. The hunt for teens with exceptional star potential is tasked to the country’s biggest names in the entertainment industry as TV5’s first and biggest talent search yet, Star Factor: Audie Gemora chairs the panel of judges to “go-see” potential talents, with Joey Reyes, Raymund Isaac and Prof. Ryan Cayabyab, and Cebu’s pride Ms. Annabelle Rama completing the show’s panel of judges, the Star Makers.

Star Factor will circle key cities of Manila, Davao and Cebu to discover the next big stars of this generation. The Star Makers will screen only the best in the crop of this year’s showbiz aspirants to introduce them to rigorous trainings, workshops and performances during the course of the show. And because the Star Makers play a crucial role in choosing the network’s future stars, TV5 has tapped high-caliber personalities who are not just well-respected masters of their craft but also hold celebrity status due to their industry expertise.

Star Factor will be hosted by popular host-actress-model Ruffa Gutierrez, Star Factor will be airing in September to introduce a new batch of teens who will be groomed as the country’s fastest rising stars.


The auditions were done in SM City Cebu, but due to an incredible showing of cebu applicants, they had to continue some and cut more applicants in the follow-up audition held in Mariott Hotel in Cebu. Aside from that, before the auditions, we had a quick talk and had a chance to ask questions to the Star Makers which was a great experience!
