There will be a MAJOR food Event in Cebu on October 7-9, 2010 which is the ICCON Challenge 2010! The ICCON or International Culinary Congress will be held at the Waterfront Cebu City hotel. I attended the press launch Last Saturday for the ICCON 2010. This is a really really “BIG food events” where there will be hands-on sort of seminar/workshop from top chefs and industry practitioners!

To further enhance the food and beverage industry, Angelita Dy and Bernadette Jingco of Grandhope Ventures Ltd., in cooperation with the University of Cebu (Main Campus) - HRM Department is once again holding the International Culinary Congress (ICCON) on October.

There will be a couple of speakers: FBMAS (Food and Beverage Managers Association in Singapore) president, Mr. Hai Poh Cheong, Singapore Executive Chef, Matthew Yim, CEO of Pages Holdings, Inc., Manuel Bunny Pages, European Cultural Chef Erwin Jason Cruz, just to name a few!
