This year, once again, the Aboitiz Group will be initiating once again the 6th Aboitiz Future Leaders Business Summit: Insider Look on the Best Corporate Entities in our Country Today. The Aboitiz Future Leaders Business Summit 2011 theme is “Inspiring Leaders for a Better Future.” The 6th AFLBS will commence August 19-20, 2011 at Radisson Blu, Cebu City.
The Aboitiz Future Leaders Business Summit (AFLBS) brings together the top college student leaders from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao and the top executives across the Aboitiz Group to share and learn about business and leadership.
The qualifications for the participants: Incoming third and fourth year students taking up courses in the following fields of study: Business Management, Accounting, Communications, Political Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Psychology, Economics and Law.
Applicants must be active officers or members of any student organization and must possess excellent communication skills. They also must not have any disciplinary case inside or outside the campus.
Every year, the top 90 carefully selected college students nationwide gather to learn about business and leadership. It is Aboitiz’s way of affirming and inspiring a continued belief in the unique and outstanding capabilities of the Filipino among today’s youth.
With the theme, Inspiring Leaders for a Better Future, the Summit features plenary discussions, games, and teambuilding exercises, simulating real work and business situations. It aims to prepare each student delegate to enter the corporate world, help them realize their future role in nation-building, and inspire young Filipinos to develop renewed faith and hope in our country, encouraging them to strive for excellence in all things.
The Summit also gives the participants an opportunity to establish networks and form ties with CEOs, executives, team leaders and team members of the Aboitiz Group of Companies, as well as fellow young leaders.
