Media Presentation of 2011 Regional Nutrition Awardees

There will be a Media Presentation of 2011 Regional Nutrition Awardees at 1:00 p.m. on 05 August 2011 (Friday) at the Cebu Parklane International Hotel, Cebu City.
The Regional Nutrition Committee thru the inter-agency Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team will present to Cebu media the results of their findings after evaluating and doing validation visits to the 4 provinces, 15 cities, 16 municipalities and 102 barangays in the region to select the Outstanding Province, City and Municipality in Central Visayas and the Regional Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Scholar.
The Media Presentation is part of the culminating activities of the 37th Nutrition Month celebration which include 7th Regional Nutrition Action Officers’ Congress and 2011 Grand Nutrition Awards.
This is NNC 7’s way of updating nutrition officials and workers on current trends and issues in nutrition program implementation and recognizing exemplary local government units and front line nutrition workers that contributed significantly to the nutrition improvement and development in their respective communities. This will be participated in by nutrition action officers coming from the Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental and Siquijor and the 16 cities of Region VII.
