There will be an upcoming One Cebu Business and Sustainability Summit 2011 on August 9, 2011 from 8am-5pm at the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC), Mandaue City, Philippines. TheBusiness and Sustainability Summit‘s theme is “Innovate Entrepreneurship: Paving the way to a sustainable economy “and will focus on sustainable business practices and social responsibility.
Experts agree that making the shift to a sustainable business economy is critical to the future of the Philippines and the world. Without making that leap, the environment we so cherish will continue to deteriorate at an increasingly rapid pace, which in turn will affect the quality of life for all of us. by taking on the challenge of “Becoming Sustainable“, we as a business community can reverse that trend and truly create a lasting legacy of sustainable long term growth for business, our community and the natural world around us.
The One Cebu Business and Sustainability Summit event is spearheaded by the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with the City of Mandaue, Province of Cebu and in cooperation with Ateneo Graduate School of Business Cebu and GO NEGOSYO.
The event will be graced by the governor of Cebu, Mandaue City Mayor and some of the following speakers: Ilac Diaz of MyShelter Foundation, Dean Pax of Go Negosyo and Eric Cruz of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry to name a few.
