Starting out as a foam manufacturer, little did they know that their family business would turn out to be one of the biggest chain of home furniture & the like store in the Philippines. Mandaue at 40 years have expanded the product lines from foam to pillows, sofas, dining tables, bed frames and etc..Mandaue Foam Celebrates 40 years in the industry and shares their success with mass media and employees.

After 40 years, Mandaue Foam is not just a testament of the ingenuity and hard work of Cebuanos but the ligature of innovation as well. Making its way to the top corporations in the Philippines, it has 17 factories and showrooms all over the country and even if named after a city, it has become a recognizable brand nationwide.

Mandaue Foam shared their partnership and CSR to Gawad Kalinga spearheaded by Eleonor Sun, Mandaue Foam Finance Manager and recieved by Jerome Awit, Gawad Kalinga Cebu Coordinator.


An open forum was held where Mr. Ryan Uy, Managing Director, son of the Mandaue Foam founders and Arch. Rudy Galagar, Asst. Vice President and their Chief Operating Officer. Together they answered questions regarding how the company grew, about the corporate social responsibility partnership with GK, business plans, about how surplus and if cheap furniture imports affect their operations.

The company also had an Awarding Ceremony recognizing employees who has worked for decades for them, who has perfect attendance and top sales performers were also awarded by the owner herself, Ms. Rosita Uy as well.
